Ippei Watanabe, the Japanese Youth Olympic Games champion who claimed the first world record of his career last month with a sizzling 2:06.67 in the 200m breaststroke at the Kosuke Kitajima Cup, was congratulated by Toshiro Muto, the Chief Executive Officer of Tokyo 2020 and almost 100 Olympic Games organising staff in Tokyo today
