The date for the ” Duel in the Pool” ISPs week after U.S. Short course yards Nationals so the American team will be comprtition- sharp.

Ledec,my may be a froshwoman at Stanford by then or she may opt to sit out collegiate season and focus all her efforts. On Rio — where of course she’ll be the overwhelming favorite in the 50-100 frees plus 100 back/fly AND the 400 IM!

How is Conger long course?

Darth Vader

Conger was 51.6 / 7 I think last summer long course. I was going to post “Jack Conger” on the Singapore Stallion article but deemed that to be a bit classless. Let the stallion have his page/glory etc. They have a friendly in team rivalry.

I have my money on Conger for 2016.
He also swam a 4:13 500 free in high school. Which broke a 30 year old record.

Conger won me over when he was racing the Singapore Stallion on a 50 fly during practice. Before the race Singapore started talking trash, Conger said nothin’, just gave him a look. They both swam a 20.3 in yards. Basically a tie. About as good as my 50 breast… or side stroke. Well not as good as my side stroke, but close!

51.6/7 is hundred fly.

We did a feature on Conger recently, too.

Conger and Schooling training with one another has to be terrific for both.

As long as her back doesn’t go out again, I think Franklin will have a far better 2015 than 2014.
