There is a good prospect of speedy anchor legs if the situation is right before the anchors dive in. I’m sure Cate Campbell is capable of closing a remarkable gap in 4*100m free relay with posting something below 52 seconds.

The American women have SO much energy after Trials, I think they may surprise everyone and do well outside what is obvious: 4 X 100 Medley Relay. After all, these are the girls who thrive on Adrenaline and Team Sprit — that is a potential game-changer in anyone’s calculus of medals!

USA should put Franklin on the freestyle leg, Coutts could well win the 100fly at these world champs and Campbell could do something crazy chasing on the Freestyle. Franklin is the best option to deal with Cate in the last 25m in which the Aussie is at her most vulnerable.

USA will win the w4x100 medley.

And I don’t think putting Cate Campbell to anchor the w4x100 free is a very good idea. Unlike Ranomi, Campbell’s start is mediocre, and thus putting her in the middle or anchor is no where near beneficial as putting her first where she give the second leg a clear water to dive in.

the 4×100 free is gonna be a thriller !!

If the US start with Franklin and Aus with bronte campbell, they might just have the edge before the last anchor. But if Aus start with Cate then it’s gonna be the Us trying to catch up !

I just hope that Bronte is at her best and whoever swims the other two lap go 53,9 but not above !! we need a full team to defeat the Us !! it’s gonna be much closer than anyone think ! especially cause the US always step up wen it’s the time and Aus tends to do the opposite =(

anyway first night is gonna be goooood lol 2 exciting relays plus the 400’s
