Ballet and swimming is an impressive combination. Most swimmers are as graceful as a walrus on land.

All of her events 50,100,200 free are the most competitive on the womens side.
Is she gonna pull a PVDH and swim them all in Rio or is she going to swim just 100-200

The 100 & 200 look extremely competitive but she’s certainly not out of contention for the “minor coin”. At the moment, she looks the most likely of those just outside the 52sec club & the 200 still looks somewhat of a lottery with any number of medal contenders. She certainly has been making notable forward progress.

if she can swim close to her best times she will be a podium contender especially 100/200free. The 200 free being most unpredictable, 1.55.8 was enough for a podium place at London Olympics while in Beijing one needed to swim 1.55.0 for a medal

Good article. Femke is a workhorse. She just keeps going and keeps improving.

One omission in the list of those she needs to conquer ….. Bronte Campbell. Her star is rising yet it gets eclipsed by sister Cate. As it stands the main threat to Cate is her sister Bronte
