Paul Biedermann - are you angry? Yes, if it suits, he says [Photo by Aniko Kovacs]

Seems a bit early for Germans to be holding a national meet but looking at upcoming schedule guess it makes sense. Those cuts won’t be easy to make save for a few big names — Brandt, Marco, etc.

I believe the Chinese Trials will start Tomorrow. Am I right? Is Sun Yang swimming?

I feel for Biedermann.
He was made as the bad guy for having the guts to defeat Phelps.
I myself also hated the fact he broke Thorpe’s revered WR by just 0.01 sec

But Biedermann along Britta Steffen was one of very few swimmers who stated matter of factly that the shiny suits helped them.

Majority American and Australian swimmers were never honest about the impact of the suits on their performances, especially in 2008 and early 2009.
Not from Phelps, not from Trickett, etc. And then when they (donned in their sponsor’s 50%rubber LZR) got their collective asses whipped by the 100% rubber suited swimmers, they all started to whine and threatened boycott.
