Mireia Belmonte, with a European record and world textile best in the 200m butterfly, took four solo golds for top woman of the meet; Daniel Gyurta rattles WR 200 breast, with Michael Jamieson cracking Commonwealth mark; gold for Pellegrini, Sjostrom, Kromowidjojo, Zevina, Govorov, Meilutyte, Stravius & Izotov

Nielsen looked quite good in the heats of 200-metres freestyle. Let’s see if the home crowd can help her to suprise all.

Big Big shame about the Brit’s selection policy if Adam and Lizzie had been on the team and not in Scotland their times would have equalled medals .

Gyurta went 2.00.72 🙂

Amazing to think they’re knocking on the door of a sub-2 SCM 200 breaststroke. I can still remember Adrian Moorhouse going 59.75 in Bonn in 1987. Exciting times ahead!
