Roll up, roll up you young aspiring Jodie Henrys of the world Down Under. The $30 million Gungahlin Leisure Centre will celebrate its first birthday in May with a new arrival at the helm of world-class coaching: Shannon Rollason has set up camp in the YMCA facility – and he’s about to build from scratch less than a half-marathon swim, as the crow flies, from the Canberra HQ of the mighty Australian Institute of Sport.

Mr. Rollason seems to have wide experience training sprinters. Perhaps it’s time for James Magnusen to re-evaluate his training choice, and consider this new option.

Forget Magnussen.. How about the likes of D’Orsogna and Abood… Australia needs more depth in men’s sprint, especially in the relay… I hope these two guys can lift if we are going to rely on them
