The medley relay is gonna be more open it seems !!

If they swim the same, Aus and the US will be about the same before the fly leg …and depending on that and Magnussen/Adrian form we could finally have a thriller finish !! something that was missing for a long time with the americans dominating that relay.

I have a feeling the medley relay for women is also gonna be closer. But the US have an enormous advantage (london 2012 they were well ahead) so I still think they will prevail. But a closer finish than last year !

Taking 1st and 2nd in backstroke is simply AWESOME.

Grevers and Plummer ought to get some prize for such a tremendous show!

Note to self: TEAM USA will definitely win the 4 x 100 medley relay — it’s in the stars (and the H2O!)

I’d bet on team USA too 😉 BUT an upset is remotely possible ! something that was unthinkable for a long time

Slightly disappointing times given what we’ve seen in the last few years. The result may have never seemed in doubt, but given his previous world title and speed on the freestyle it’s surprising that Stravius wasn’t faster.
