Olympic 1500m freestyle champion Gregorio Paltrinieri emerged from a 10km battle at sea in fourth at the LEN European Open Water Swimming Cup in Eliat, Israel, today. He clocked 1 hour 50mins and was just shy of the best pace of open water specialists in his first-ever 10km international battle at sea.
