This meet sounds like so much fun!

Seebohm is most impressive I think.

Verram

Is there another session this evening (Friday Aussie time) or back again tomorrow?

felixdangerpants

Hackett quite close to Horton…..I think he beats McKeon at trials next year & gets solo spot. McEvoy very impressive

Isn’t James Magnussen competing at this meet?

Is there any youtube video of the meet?

I think all of the top swimmers (Seebohm, McEvoy, Hagino, Campbell) were extremely impressive, considering they are in heavy training.

felixdangerpants

Yes mag is there, Cate just split a 23.2

I wonder if David Morgan will become the first butterfly male swimmer in Australia. He seems to have made enormous progress in the 200m butterfly within a year. And he’s not too far from handler and D’Orsogna in the 100m. How old is he?

felixdangerpants

Roy Cate will never swim the 200, she is a flat out sprinter who trains purely to sprint, don’t be misled by a 50 then 3 minutes rest then a 100. That is absolutely meaningless. Morgan trains at TSS now that’s why he’s dropped so much time, Chris Nesbitt is 1 of the best coaches on the planet. He’s a scrawny 21 year old.

felixdangerpants

Morgan that is, Chris is not scrawny nor 21.

Pretty impressive 400 IM by Hagino, 3:44 is not a bad yards time when you think about it.

Torchbearer

I swim all my 200s with two rests as well… 🙂

But not in 1:46.
