The German nationals, which ended in Wuppertal on Sunday night, resulted in a team of 31 for the European Short-Course Championships in Herning, Denmark. One of those who qualified on time, Paul Biedermann, will not race in Denmark, having set his sights on success at the continent’s long-course showcase in Berlin next summer.
