Interesting that Goddard is concentrating on the backstroke again after last year’s focus on medley. You’d think that his medal chances in the medley would be improved with Phelps out of the picture…

Jack Marriott of Oxford also has times in textile that are faster than the cut – not sure if he’s entered in the trials though this year as he hasn’t been training nearly as much.
