France took another big stroke towards being the No1 nation in Open Water at the 17th World Championships on Lake Balaton, Hungary, today, when its mixed relay 5km shoal claimed gold in 54mins 05.9sec, well ahead of the American and Italian squads that completed the podium. In the winning team, two swimmers who celebrated their second gold medals this week.
