It is 13 years since Federica Pellegrini claimed Olympic silver in the 200m freestyle at Athens 2004 and one years since gold at Beijing 2008 – and the Italian is still going strong a year shy of her 30th birthday: 1:55.94, good for the helm of the world rankings at the start of 2017 trials season.
