This event looks like one very tasty shoot-out between Murphy, Grevers & Plummer. Whichever two book themselves the ticket to Rio will have to be single figure odds for the podium.

The WR is about to go down

The race between Murphy, Plummer and Grevers wil be delicious. WR anyone?

Quite possible given the proximity of three ostensibly evenly matched competitors but neither is it any kind of certainty. Whoever wins in Omaha will most likely go into Rio with the weight of favouritism on their shoulders.

Whether that is a boost or millstone round their necks we cannot know at this point.
