Cuts For Etienne Medeiros, Guilherme Guido and Joao de Lucca In Maria Lenk Finals

In finals on day two of the Maria Lenk Trophy and test event for Rio 2016, Etienne Medeiros, Guilherme Guido and Joao de Lucca all raced inside qualifying targets to represent Brazil at a home Olympic Games this August.

Morning Results day 3:

Not a very good morning, slow times, but 2 fina A cuts at least.

Women 200 Free: Larissa Martins 1:58:52 (Fina A Cut)
Then Jessica de Bruin only other sub-2.
3 girls sub 2:01.
SA Holder had a bad 2:01:29 and will go to B Final, same for Joanna Maranhão.

Men 200 fly:
Kaio Marcio A cut with 1:56:40, second is Vinicius Lanza who dropped 2 seconds to go 1:58:18, but his focus is the 100 fly.

De Deus took an easy 1:59 for 4th place.
2:00:20 to get A Final.

Women 200 medley: Maranhão and Almeida on 2:17, but Maranhão took it easy. Can´t see anyone except Maranhão (Who is already qualified) going to OG..


Women 200 final showed up a good relay, not medal good, but good..

Larissa With new SA Record: 1:57:37
Manuella 1:58:62, but she swam 400 yesterday and was already 1:58 flat.
Jessica de Bruin: 1:59:09
Gabrielle Roncato: 1:59:22
Last under 2: Heitmann with 1:59:95
Also of Note, Raurich with 2:00:36 with 15 years old


200 fly:
De Deus with 1:55:54, Kaio 1:56:21
Good times for Lanza, he was over 2:00 before today and now went 1:57:44 and his main race is 100 fly.. Also PB for Altamir 1:57:74. Kaue Silva PB too under 2:00
