Kraemer summed up not just his missed world-titles cut in the 50m free and a less than dashing climax to six days of French Championships in Strasbourg but a meet that will surely have left selectors scratching their heads. As things stand, no relays have qualified to represent France at world titles in Budapest, while the national team, on straight just in solo events, looks set to counted on two hands, four men and six women past the post in six days of racing.
