It was August 4 when Vladimir Morozov was reinstated to the Olympic Games after having initially been barred after being linked to the WADA commissioned report of Prof. Richard McLaren. It was August 30 when Morozov, after an underwhelming Olympics in Rio, cracked out a stunning 50.30 world record in the 100m medley. 51.8 soon after gold in the 4x50m free relay left the Russian next to last in the mini medley today as American Michael Andrew took a debut world s/c crown. And all that on a day when Prof Richard McLaren’s concluding WADA report offers hope of questions being answered
