Bertrand should step down for leading and overseeing the biggest collapse of favorites in Olympics swimming history.

Fiji represent Oceania in FINA?

Craig Lord

Yes, asf. Denis Miller is the Fiji rep. Nothing personal – but quite ridiculous – and daft of Australia to accept such nonsense. Australia should have a voice on the Bureau – and they should long, long, long ago pressed that. Leadership in swimming is weak at intl level because it is weak at domestic level, too many failing to see that you cannot build the best environment for athletes (doping and many other issues) if you have no say, no voice, and those who speak for you simply do not represent the best interests of your athletes and key assets. Aus has Matt Dunn on Bureau as athlete representative. Given all that has happened, we ought to have heard from him, loud and clear. We have not. Why?

Lawrie Cox

Great quote in the headline as against “we did really, really well and we cannot be criticised” through the lens of the rose tinted glasses.
