Another Shocker From The Vault: Diana Nyad Vs Jack Nelson

It is a tale already told but one that Diana Nyad has no intention of letting go of and one that continues to haunt swimming in the USA: on the heap of sex abuse scandals that have rocked the sport in America comes a forceful reminder of an allegation against a former USA Olympic head coach. Compare and contrast with the willingness of the public and press in the UK to demonise elderly men in showbusiness as the result of Operation Yewtree for apparently similar “crimes” to those committed within swimming in the US.

Here, alleged victims are actively sought out and their complaints pursued at the expense of the public purse with the full support of our politically correct press and feminists who praise the bravery of women who unlike Nyad made no complaint at the time but have now suddenly found a voice. These women have their identities protected whilst their once famous alleged abusers are exposed, losing their livelihoods and their reputations. Here there appears to be little regard to the complete lack of evidence to support the allegations.

Not sure which is worse.
