Adam Peaty followed a 57.79 win in the 100m breaststroke last night with a 26.62 blast in the dash to extend his lead at the helm of the world rankings this year. The next stroke towards the further assault on two world titles (don’t mention defence) this July in Budapest is taken. No-one but Peaty himself has ever been faster.
