John, Katinka was right, Laszlo lost everything mentally.

Shane Tusup has toned down his celebration style. I don’t know if it’s due to NY Times article.

I mean, if it were really his style and his real self, why need to tone down your celebration. If nothing is amiss, they should not care about what anyone else said about them.

Barnabas Mandi

“Yesterday” they didn’t care what anyone else had said, said, would say about them. But from september their own swimming club will start, “Iron Aquatics”. So from now seemingly is important.

Barnabas,
What happened with Cseh?
What do you mean by he lost everything mentally, or why?

Barnabas Mandi

I really don’t know what happened in his head. The prelims wasn’t good but wasn’t so bad. The semis was awfull. He hated it, he thought it was much faster, but he said what everybody saw that there wasn’t any dynamics inside that swim. He lost his confidence then, he lost everything. Everybody, including not only the psychhologists, phsychiatrists of the swimming team spoke to him after it but presently the most famous psychiatrist in Hungary (Imre Csernus, who is with the Hungarian women water polo team) asked to do something with Laszlo, but nothing worked as we could see. One day wasn’t enough. I think he lost this race before the race itself ( jus as David Verraszto on the first day). I’m very said about them.

Barnabas Mandi

And as we know he lost races some many times when Phelps and/or Lochte was there so it is Laszlo’s piano but not on his back but in his mind.

aswimfan

I see.
Yes, the Laszlo that I saw this morning (my local time) is not the Laszlo that I saw beating Le Clos in Kazan.
But you got your new butterfly star now in Kenderesi.

Barnabas Mandi

But I hoped that the Laszlo from Kazan or mainly the Laszlo from London would win at least one gold in Rio.
And we have also Bence Biczo, don’t forget it.

aswimfan

oh I have forgotten about Bence Biczo. Where is he? Is he still swimming?

I’m not sure if Cseh will win 100 fly. The competition is even tougher than in 200 fly. I rate both Phelps and LeClos stronger in 100 than they were in 200. There will also be Schooling who seem to be in the form of his life. Tough.

Barnabas Mandi

Yes, Bence is swimming at University of Debrecen. I hope he will be good again.

Barnabas Mandi

Schooling won’t be anywhere and really sorry to say but Cseh won’t win anything. 🙁
