Jaz Carlin [SWpix/British Swimming]

Jazmin Carlin is looking forward to world titles. Very impressive! While Ledecky is broadening her focus on shorter end of the freestyle events, suddenly she faces a new challenger at the longer end of the distances. What the (beep) they’re still wondering? I mean, the fastest time in the last 3-4 years.

Amazing times by Carlin! Is she fully rested and tapered for these swims?

I think she’s in the state of rest she needs to swim at that pace … coach Bud McAllister has referred to her as someone who is better when she maintains some volume right up to the door

Any word on what they plan to do regarding the women’s calendar in Rio? Jaz could be inaugural winner of 1500 title. But that’s getting a bit ahead of ourselves on two fronts. Much better race. 800 is neither here nor there for me.
